Shipping policy

The short version

• Where: every US state and Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and military addresses (APO, FPO, and DPO), at the same rates. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and military addresses can take 3 to 7 extra business days.
• Standard shipping: $5.95, free on orders of $49 or more (the order subtotal before tax). Arrives in 4-8 business days.
• Express shipping: $14.95, 2-4 business days, contiguous US only.
• Cutoff: orders placed by 2 pm Pacific on a business day start processing that day.
• When you pay: your card is authorized when you order and charged when the order ships.
• Tracking: we email the carrier and tracking number when your order ships, and your order page shows every step.

Delivery times are business days and include both processing and transit. Checkout shows the estimate for the method you choose.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and military addresses can take 3 to 7 extra business days. Express shipping is available in the contiguous US only. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and military addresses ship standard USPS; if express shipping is chosen for one of these addresses, we ship it standard and refund the difference.

Free standard shipping applies when your order subtotal, before tax, is $49 or more. Express shipping is never free.

How your order ships

We pack most orders within 1-2 business days (express orders within 1 business day). Each order ships in one package, with USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL. Military addresses (APO, FPO, and DPO) and PO boxes ship with USPS. When it leaves, we email you the carrier and tracking number, with a link to track it when the carrier offers one.

We do not ship to other countries yet.

When you are charged

Your card is authorized when you place the order and charged when the order ships. If you cancel before it ships, or we cannot ship it, we release the hold and you are never charged.

If an order cannot ship before the authorization expires (card issuers usually release holds after about seven days), we cancel it rather than charge you, and we contact you so you can order again. Details are in the terms of service.

Late, lost, or damaged packages

If a package has not arrived, tell us within 30 days of its expected delivery date. We reship it or refund you, and we handle the claim with the carrier. Email [email protected] with your order number, including when tracking has stopped moving or shows delivered and you cannot find the package. If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, our returns policy covers a replacement or a full refund.
